Return to the Application List.
Voice Commander will not show the text spoken by the user until the user pauses, allowing Windows
time to convert the voice inputs to text.
In the list are some commands which are similar. This supports the different inflections a user
might use when speaking a command. In some cases the recognized command might simply be a reversal of the
command terms
OverView
The EZReader Voice Commander allows users to open EZReader applications by saying "Open Application Name". There
are about 100 commands that are currently recognized and more are being added on a regular basis.
Voice Commander Main Screen
When started, Voice Commander displays a "Listening" box in the lower left corner of the desktop.
Then, the user must wait for Windows to display the following window. The user will hear a beep
when the window appears, acknowledging that Windows is ready to receive voice inputs.
Once that window is available and the beep is heard, the user can start speaking. What the
user speaks will be shown in the Voice Commander windows. When the window contains a recognized
command, Voice Commander will close and the recognized command will be executed.
